This class is about testing and certification: running the tester, reading pass/fail, chasing down what fails, and producing the labeling and as-builts that clients and inspectors actually accept.

What You'll Learn

This Isn't a Slideshow Class

You'll spend the class on certification testers, testing real copper and fiber runs, finding faults, and generating reports — the skills that make you the person a crew relies on at closeout.

Where It Can Lead

Testing and documentation skills make you more valuable on any cabling or fiber crew, and open the door to lead-installer and QA roles with DMV contractors.

We'll help you build the skills and a resume that shows them. We don't promise a job or a salary, and we won't pretend otherwise. This is a trade you earn.
