This class puts fiber in your hands from day one: handling and prepping cable, connectorizing, fusion and mechanical splicing, and testing your work so it passes inspection instead of getting flagged.
No experience required. We start at the beginning and build up from there.
You'll spend most of your time on real cable, real splicers, and real testers — the same gear you'll touch on a live install — so your first day on a job isn't your first time holding the tools. Class sizes are kept small so you get real hands-on time, not a seat in the back.
Fiber skills open doors to roles like fiber installer, splicing technician, structured-cabling tech, and IT field technician — with the contractors, data centers, and carriers all over the DMV.
